Playa Paraiso

Playa Paraiso is probably better known for its brilliant modern all inclusive hotels than as an actual holiday resort itself. It is the ideal place for people who like nothing more than relaxing around a really well equipped hotel and pool and spending a fun afternoon at the poolside bar with the option to eat and drinking as much as you like buffet style.

The hotels here are great however the resort centre itself is fairly quiet as a result as holiday makers opt for the well catered entertainment services within their hotels rather than eating out en mass, there are however a few restaurants and bars to choose from.

While the Playa Paraiso resort is fairly quiet it is actually a great base for those looking to explore the island and is well located on the west of the island with the busy holiday resort and famous night-life of Playa de las Americas just a 10 minute taxi ride away.

The beach at Playa Paraiso is not huge but it is man made and has lovely golden sand lapped by a clear blue sea making it an ideal spot for sunbathing. The beach rarely gets too busy and is great for an day relaxing on the sand and bathing in the sea.

A highlight of the area is the Lago Paraíso, a wonderful swimming pool complex with huge pools that is well worth an afternoons adventure, particularly if you have children. In all a great resort if your idea of heaven is a totally relaxing poolside getaway.
