There’s a wide range of accommodation in Playa de Las Americas, both apartment complexes and hotels. Most of the apartment blocks will be furnished and there will be kitchen and cooking facilities for those who prefer a self catering holiday. Most of the apartments are meant for four to six people and you will have to pay a supplement if there are only two or three of you.
There are some world class hotels in Tenerife and some really good ones in the resort of Playa de Las Americas. There is usually a choice between half and full board at the hotels and there are one or two that just do bed and breakfast. There are plenty of places to eat throughout the resort so if you do stay at a hotel that is bed and breakfast only, there are still plenty of places for you to get some lunch or an evening meal.
If all you want is comfortable hotel then there are plenty of those in the resort of Playa de Las Americas. If you travel with one of the major tour operators then they will have arranged the accommodation for you. Some hotel rooms are meant just for two people and some for four, if you get a late deal and you end up with a room meant for four, then you may find yourself paying a supplement. A good number of the hotels and even some of the apartment blocks will run some kind of entertainment in the evening. Sometimes the entertainment is over by about midnight and then people decide to hit the clubs and bars in the resort.
