Los Gigantes is a quiet resort but there are still plenty of things to do. If you like fishing then why not go on one of the sports fishing expeditions, or if you are feeling really adventurous then have a go at scuba diving.
Los Gigantes is a harbour and so there are plenty of boat trips to be had to see whales and dolphins or to see the marine life through a glass bottom boat. You can visit the church in the central plaza or go to the commercial centre where there are bars and restaurants and plenty of shopping if that is what you like to do. It is worth checking with the town council to see whether there are any fiestas on while you are there.
Why not take a bus ride out to the nearby village and if you have the energy climb the hill to see the magnificent statue that is dedicated to the fisher women of years gone by. If you are still feeling energetic then there is a sports centre and some tennis courts at the San Francisco development just outside the village.
For a good choice of restaurants and bars the nearby resort of Playa de la Arena has plenty to offer if you want a change from Gigantes itself. While there is fun to be had in the resort at night it is not on the scale of places like Playa de las Americas. If you fancy dancing the night away then the resort is thirty minutes drive up the coast from los Gigantes.
