Los Gigantes is in the south west of the island of Tenerife and is one of the quieter resorts, ideal for family holidays. There is a good choice of accommodation in los Gigantes itself and in its two neighbouring resorts of Puerto Santiago and Playa de la Arena.
There are few high rise buildings in the Tenerife resort of Los Gigantes because the resort was planned with mostly low rise hotels, houses and apartment blocks. There are more holiday apartment blocks than there are hotels but most of the apartment blocks have hotel amenities such as a restaurant, kids’ activities and evening entertainment. The Barcelo Varadero Apartments are right next to the los Gigantes Mountain and on the Playa de la Arena beach.
The Lagos de Cesar hotel is located in the neighbouring town of Puerto Santiago, close to the Arena Negra beach and within easy reach of the shopping and leisure centre. There is a restaurant at the hotel and most other facilities you would expect, including evening entertainment.
El Sombrero Apartments are located in los Gigantes the apartments are just 200 metres from the centre of the resort and 700 metres from the beach. The apartments are fully furnished and have internet access and a balcony. For those people who prefer not to be in either hotels or apartments there are some beautiful holiday villas to rent in and around los Gigantes. Some of the villas have swimming pools and all of them are fully furnished.
