If you’re a big fan of astronomy and space science then there is only one place to be this summer.

Buzz Aldrin, one of the most famous astronauts ever to have been part of a space mission, will be at the Starmus festival which will be held in Tenerife and La Palma from June 20 – 25th. The ceremony will combine disciplines of astronomy, science and music and you will also be able to get photographs of world famous astronauts plus hear them talk about their experiences.

There will also be international scientists, musicians and famous artists so if you love anything to do with space and the outer world make sure you take your autograph book because there will be some very special people there talking to visitors and giving talks about their experiences.
The festival will celebrate 50 years of the flight of the Vostok, from 1 to 12 April when Yuri Gagarin conquered space for the very first time. It will be held in the Magma Art and Convention Centre and will be attended by many high profile people ranging from current astronauts to photographers who have taken famous photographs from space. It really isn’t one to be missed and could be an event that you talk about for many years to come.

There will also be an opportunity for people to take a look around a photo exhibition that will be held there as well as space art and authentic music from the band Tangerine Dream.

If you fancy coming along for the opportunity to see Buzz why not search for a cheap late deal on Playa de Las Americas holidays.
